Here’s Ontario’s chief medical officer of health, Dr. Kieran Moore, speaking at a news conference Wednesday: “COVID transmission is still occurring and masks can protect you and others from becoming infected.” It was the same news conference at which he announced the province’s masking mandate will end in most settings March 21.
