Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson says there’s an urgent need for COVID-19 vaccination via pharmacies in Ottawa, and that he and health board chair Keith Egli wrote to the provincial health minister Wednesday morning requesting that Ottawa be “urgently prioritized” for inclusion in the pharmacy pilot program as it expands.
