Dr. Vera Etches, Ottawa’s medical officer of health, announced on Monday that Ottawa Public Health has posted a downloadable attestation form that families can use when sending their child back to school after experiencing symptoms or illness not related to COVID-19, noting that many schools and child-care providers aren’t allowing children back without a medical note or proof of a negative test “which is not recommended by OPH.” Read More
