According to the city, last year’s work on a project included community engagement, research and data analysis with a full analysis expected from the Guiding Council by the end of March. Following that, Community and Social Services staff will report in the spring to committee and to city council on an enhanced or new crisis response system, as well as a treatment program for those with complex PTSD living in the ByWard Market and Lowertown, with a business case brought to council before the 2024 budget process.
