A mosque in Cumberland on Friday held its 11th annual ceremony to honour Canadian veterans for Remembrance Day, with the presiding imam calling it an opportunity to thank soldiers for their sacrifices and to honour often under-represented Canadian veterans, including Muslim and Indigenous people who served in the line of duty.
